Oil and gas industry meeting in Texas: AmeriGas to present Implico solution at SAP conference Best Practices – Standardized business processes with SAP OGSD and CPR

The high-caliber event program will feature a joint presentation of the end-to-end industry solution SAP OGSD (SAP Oil & Gas Secondary Distribution) by the Implico Group and AmeriGas. The largest propane supplier in the US has used the Implico-developed SAP solution for downstream sector companies to automate its entire process chain from order taking to final billing.

The conference will feature case studies and keynote presentations to present powerful solutions for the challenges faced by oil and gas companies today. AmeriGas and Implico will be showing how the US company has utilized SAP OGSD to optimize and automate all of its processes involving order management. Thanks to SAP OGSD, reconciliation of all goods movements with the accounting and reporting units also takes place automatically.

The presentation will also cover the Continuous Product Replenishment (CPR) functional enhancement. This solution offers AmeriGas reliable consumption forecasting based on tank levels, previous consumption and weather data and automatically generates replenishment orders. The talk is scheduled for Monday, 22 October from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. and will be given by Tadd Peed, SAP Business Systems Analyst at AmeriGas Propane and Mike Serratore, Vice President US of the Implico Group. Implico will also be available to answer questions from conference participants outside the presentation and will be presenting the SAP OGSD all-in-one industry solution as well as the functional enhancements contained in the Integrated Logistics Add-On Package (ILAP). These include the CPR extensions Forecast Analysis Tool und Initial Setup Tool and the map-based applications Sales Region Designer (SRD) and Integrated Dispatch Management (IDM).
