Grisard AG (Basel) has introduced the end-to-end industry solution SAP Oil & Gas Secondary Distribution (SAP OGSD). The project was implemented by Implico AG. Based in Biel, the company is the Swiss branch of the global Implico Group. The project began at Grisard – one of the founding members of AVIA – in November 2009 and the company went live with the last project component in early May.
Grisard is now using SAP OGSD to handle all business processes relating to retail and lubricants. Key functionalities from the solution was already available to the company by February 2010. The productive launch of warehouse leasing functionalities for 1 May marked the successful completion of the entire project.
As a result, three of the eleven AVIA members now work with this end-to-end solution for the petroleum industry – developed by Implico and marketed by SAP worldwide.
