Dr. Sarfraz Ali is a passionate teacher and keen researcher with interests in advanced numerical modelling techniques for analysis of complex geomechanical problems such as dams, slopes, surface and underground excavations (mining). He has hosted number of training courses in FLAC, UDEC and 3DEC for faculty and students of Mining Schools, University of Witwatersrand, South Africa, National University of sciences and Technology (NUST) and National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK).
