The Implico Group has launched a new app for its OpenTAS product range – OpenTAS TFM. Aimed at refineries and tank storage providers working with the OpenTAS terminal management and terminal automation system, the app has been available from the AppStore since the beginning of the month. TFM stands for Tank Farm Management. The app provides users from management, sales and operations with real-time information about inventory levels and movements at their own depots.

Yesterday, the new Release 6.1 of SAP oil & gas secondary distribution (OGSD) entered the ramp-up phase – the process for introducing SAP solutions to the market. In recent weeks, Implico's all-in-one solution tailored to companies in the downstream industry has successfully passed the various quality tests conducted by SAP AG. SAP OGSD 6.1 will now be made available to a select group of customers; a general release for the product is planned for the middle of next year.
